How HUMC Can Help Haiti



How Hawkins UMC members can help Haiti survivors:

• Make monetary donations.

• Donate supplies for UMCOR Health Kits.

• Pick up shopping list of Kit supplies needed.

• Place supplies in boxes at Sanctuary west entrances and ALC common area.

• Participate in Grand Packaging event on Saturday, February 6th at 10 a.m. in the ALC

• Volunteer --- Get involved!





UMCOR Health Kit Contents

• 1 gallon plastic storage/freezer bag, Slider lock top

• 1 hand towel (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27", No kitchen towels)

• 1 washcloth

• 1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized)

• 1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)

• 1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up)

• 1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes) DONATION COMPLETED

• 6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages (3/4” to 1” widths)

• 1 tube of toothpaste (size 3 - 4oz.) with expiration in 2011 or later, or give $1.00 for UMCOR to purchase toothpaste
