Our Annual Cold Confection Challenge is August 8th at 6:00 pm. Homemade ice cream is always a favorite, and this is the time be pulled out
your favorite recipe and join in the fun. Remember, the ice cream bowl is placed in the winners honor for one year. Last year’s winners
were Mattie Jones in the children under 16 years of age category and Ann Walters in the adult category. The bowl is on display in our trophy
case located in the Welcome Area of the Abundant Life Center.
This is always a “sweet” night, and this year our entertainment will come from you with the Hawkins Talent Show. We will
begin our evening with the tasting event and a pot-luck meal. After the meal enjoy your favorite homemade ice cream for dessert. The winners
will be announced and the talent show will take place immediately following the meal. Please let Julie know if you are planning to bring
ice cream or participating in the Talent Show.
